Fifteen years of development and commitment
The Gennaker offshore wind farm was initiated in 2011 and has since then been continuously developed and refined in response to evolving regulatory, technical, and market conditions. The project has now transitioned into execution, the phase involving onshore manufacturing and offshore installation.
German Baltic Sea, fifteen kilometers offshore
The Gennaker offshore wind farm is located within the Darß priority area, approx. fifteen kilometers north of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula along the German coast. This location enables capturing consistent winds while respecting environmental and maritime regulations.
